Attorney Profiles


Dewey M. Dalton attended the University of Texas in Austin where he received his B.B.A. degree in 1964 and his law degree in 1966.  He has been practicing law in Dallas, Dallas County, Texas since 1966, has an AV rating in Martindale-Hubbell and focuses his practice in the area of commercial litigation with an emphasis on construction litigation.  He is a member of the State Bar of Texas and the Dallas Bar Association where he is active in the Construction Law Section. He is admitted to practice in the State of Texas as well as the United States Bankruptcy Courts in the Northern, Western, Eastern and Southern Districts of Texas.  Due to his vast experience in civil litigation, he became a licensed mediator in 2006 and is very active in the mediation community.



Dewey M. Dalton, Jr. attended Texas Tech University where he received a B.S. in Sociology and a minor in Spanish in 1995. After graduating from Texas Tech he attended Texas Wesleyan School of Law in Fort Worth, Texas where he was on the staff of the Texas Weslyan Law Review. He received his Juris Doctorate in 1999 and became licensed to practice in Texas later that year. Since then, he has been practicing in Dallas, Dallas County, Texas. He is a member of the State Bar of Texas, The Dallas Bar Association and the Dallas Association of Young Lawyers. As a result of practicing with his father, he quickly began his civil trial practice with a focus on all different types of civil litigation.
